Multiple recession defects on the lower anterior teeth with root exposure, sensitivity to cold and a reduced band of attached gingiva.
Procedure
Coronally advanced flap with a subepithelial connective tissue graft harvested from the palate, secured with microsurgical suturing.
Materials
Autogenous subepithelial connective tissue graft
Healing & review
Soft-diet protocol for two weeks, suture removal at day 14, review at 6 weeks and 3 months.
Outcome
Root coverage achieved with a thicker, stable band of keratinised tissue and resolution of cold sensitivity.
